Matthew Camastro holds his B.Mus. in Piano Performance from Bob Jones University and M.M. in Classical Piano from the Aaron Copland School of Music in Queens, NY. Throughout his studies, Matthew has performed numerous solo recitals across the United States. In addition, he is the 2019 winner of the Bob Jones University annual music contest and the recipient of the BJU Keyboard Studies Award and the Norma-Murray Howoritz Award. Matthew and his studio have been featured on statewide television networks, CUNY-TV and FOX Carolina. He was also privileged to serve as the BJU artist-in-residence in 2024.

Matthew currently teaches from his private studio in Greenville, SC applying the Taubman approach to students of all ages and levels. He first discovered the Taubman approach at the 2019 Summer Symposium in Berkeley, CA and has studied with Edna Golandsky since 2020.
