After her own struggle with piano-related injuries while being an international student in the U.S., Eleni started studying with the co-founder of the Golandsky Institute Robert Durso, and became even more interested in finding ways to overcome physical limitations and solve technical problems on the piano. As a doctoral researcher at the University of Ioannina in Greece, her studies focus on the relationship between piano technique and injury. Since 2022, she has been teaching piano at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory in Athens, Greece.
Eleni has been the recipient of many merit scholarships during her university studies and has frequently participated in summer music festivals in Europe and the United States. She is also interested in new music and has done the world premier of works by Yiorgos Vassilandonakis (Persistent Outliers, Archanes Piano Academy, 2014), and Manos Panayiotakis (Idol of Clytemnestra, Archanes Piano Academy, 2022).
