Amsterdam String Workshop with Sophie Till

String players, do you suffer playing-related pain, fatigue, injury or discomfort? Or do you want to explore a technique that allows you to play with ease and brilliance?

Sophie Till, violinist and Associate Faculty member of the Golandsky Institute, NY, is visiting Amsterdam on May 24 and 25 and will be presenting workshops on understanding and applying the Taubman/Golandsky Approach for string players. Learn how to understand, apply, and teach principles that govern a healthy and brilliant playing technique and solve playing-related issues of pain and discomfort. Fundamentals will be presented, along with hands-on help and specific examples from the repertoire.

Sophie Till

British violinist Sophie Till, lives and works in the USA. She is the preeminent teacher of the Taubman/Golandsky Approach for Strings, which she has developed in partnership with Edna Golandsky at the Golandsky Institute based in New York. Sophie gives workshops, lecture series, and lessons for professional orchestral players, teachers and students internationally.


Workshop Information

Sophie will present two 2-hour introductory sessions about the Taubman/Golandsky Approach and will be available for private lessons. A question/answer session will follow her presentations.
