Online Lessons

Don't live close to a certified teacher?

Edna Golandsky, John Bloomfield, Mary Moran, Robert Durso, Giselle Brodsky, Elizabeth Swarthout, Yoriko Fieleke, and other Golandsky Institute faculty and certified teachers are now offering live lessons over the Internet using free software from Skype. All it takes is a computer equipped with a webcam and a broadband Internet connection. Online lessons work just like in-person lessons, but since the teacher isn't physically present, there are some limitations.

Online lessons can be used for:

  • Answers to your questions on playing and teaching. Teachers are also available to answer questions via email and video-Working with your students
  • Setting up a healthy technique (correct positioning and seat height, etc)
  • Healthy typing (poor typing technique gets in the way of good piano playing for many musicians...and many of them don't even realize it)

Golandsky Institute faculty and certified teachers are also available to answer questions via email and video.

For pricing and more information, please contact the faculty member or certified teacher you would like to study with.
