Alan Wasserman

Alan Wasserman is a Magna cum Laude graduate of Rowan University with a degree in Music Education.  He is the founder/director of MMI, which has over 30 teachers that travel to students’ homes for lessons and a past president of the prestigious Music Educators Association of New Jersey (over 300 members).

He presents “Guided Listening Recitals” at pre-schools and retirement communities and receives enthusiastic response from people of all ages. His commitment to teaching has led to his involvement in Monster Concerts.  The most recent one featured performers at 32 Steinways in Red Bank, NJ, with duet teams at each piano. The largest was in 2004 when, as the President of the historic Cecilian Music Club founded in 1883, he led a group of 40 American students to join with 60 Chinese students in presenting a 100 piano Monster Concert in Shanghai, China.

Alan has attended Taubman/Golandsky seminars since 1984 and currently studies with Edna Golandsky.
